<p>Nearly 4,000 people around the world have shown their support for ending the global AIDS epidemic by signing an online declaration during the XIX International AIDS Conference.</p>
<p>A declaration calling for global support to end the AIDS epidemic was announced on July 10 by the International AIDS Society, with key support from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).</p>
<p>The first U.S. meeting of the International AIDS Conference in more than two decades will be held later this month in Washington, DC, and Bay Area reporters got a preview of what UCSF researchers will present when they convene at the nation's capitol.</p>
<p>The UCSF School of Medicine congratulated students on May 11 for their success in graduating from one of the best medical schools in the country.</p>
<p>Dean Mary Anne Koda-Kimble, PharmD, congratulated the graduates of the nation's top-ranked pharmacy school while faculty, friends and family members looked on at the 2012 commencement ceremony at Davies Symphony Hall on May 4.</p>

<p>If the U.S Supreme Court allows for the ongoing expansion and adoption of national health care reform, it will mean a greater role for family medicine practitioners as the previously uninsured seek primary care physicians to gain access to the health care system.</p>
