UCSF Employee Giving Program

UCSF employees can make a tax-deductible contribution by December 13, 2015.

This fall, UC San Francisco announces its 2015 Annual Campaign of the Employee Giving Program that enables faculty and staff members to support the causes they find most personally meaningful.

Interested employees can make tax-deductible contributions as one-time gifts or via recurring payroll deductions. Gifts can be made to virtually any program or department at UCSF; each contribution makes a significant impact on UCSF’s mission of leading revolutions in health.

Over the last five years, donations from nearly 5,000 faculty and staff members have helped fund 741 projects. Contributions to the program have resulted in more than $30 million to fund research, patient care initiatives, scholarships, and capital projects. In addition, UCSF’s partnership with Community Health Charities of California allows faculty and staff to make contributions to hundreds of external charitable organizations.

In a message to the UCSF community, Chancellor Sam Hawgood, MBBS, said: “UCSF is driven by the idea that when the best research, the best education and the best patient care converge, great breakthroughs are achieved. In the spirit of our time-honored tradition of collaboration and participation, I invite you to take part in the 2015 UCSF Employee Giving Program.”

The 2015 Annual Campaign runs through December 13, but staff and faculty can participate in the Employee Giving Program any time throughout the year.
