UCSF to Host Health Care Fraud Prevention Seminar on September 27
Fraud committed through medical identity theft now plagues many physician practices in California.
In recognition of September being Health Care Fraud Prevention and Awareness Month, the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, in collaboration with the California Medical Association, California Department of Health Care Services, the Office of the Inspector General, the California State Attorney General, and the Senior Medicare Patrol, is hosting a series of events on medical identify theft and other fraud related topics.
