To allow veterans and military service members to get to know the UC San Francisco community and consider UCSF as an employer of choice, the University will host its third annual Veterans Open House and Job Fair on Thursday, Nov. 8.
When: Thursday, Nov. 8 from 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
Where: UCSF Millberry Union, 500 Parnassus Ave., San Francisco
The University of California has a long history of welcoming student veterans and military personnel to its campuses, and the UCSF talent acquisition team aims to build upon this strong foundation by hiring even more veterans.
Whether job fair attendees are current or former members of the military, they will find UCSF to offer a supportive community dedicated to helping all employees succeed.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about job openings from UCSF hiring managers, to network with fellow veterans, and to attend a panel discussion that supports their job search, including tips for sharpening resume writing and interview skills. UCSF Chancellor Sam Hawgood, MBBS, will also deliver a keynote address.
All veteran job seekers interested in exploring UCSF employment opportunities are invited to attend. The job fair portion of the event is intended to attract new employees to UCSF, rather than internal hires, transfers or promotions.
Veterans seeking new UCSF employment can register for the event at ucsfveteransevent.eventbrite.com.
