Archive: ePrognosis: Cancer Screening Mobile App Wins Award
At the 13th annual Donald W. Reynolds Foundation grantees’ meeting, a UCSF and Harvard Medical School mobile application won this year’s product of the year award. The newly developed app, ePrognosis: Cancer Screening, is a decision support application compatible with the iPhone, iPad, or iTouch. The app assesses patient age, gender, BMI, symptoms, and functional impairment to calculate a mortality risk to help determine whether cancer screening is more likely to help or harm a patient.
