UCSF Primary Care Group Opens at Mount Zion, Accepts Patients
UCSF Primary Care, located on the second floor of the building at 1701 Divisadero St. on the Mount Zion campus, is now open with the goal of making primary care more personal and accessible.
The new practice, headed by pediatrician David Buchholz, MD, offers same-day appointments for urgent medical needs and uses technology to make the practice more efficient. Through MyHealth, UCSF’s patient portal, patients can make appointments, communicate with their doctor and request prescription refills.
Brent Kobashi, MD, an internist and graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine who recently completed an internal medicine residency at UCSF, and Jo Marie Munnich, MD, a family medicine specialist in private practice in Albany for 10 years and a graduate of UC Irvine College of Medicine, are now seeing patients at the new clinic.
Buchholz will start seeing pediatric patients, from infants to age 17, on Tuesday, March 16.
To make an appointment with Kobashi or Munnich, call UCSF Primary Care at 415/514-6200. For more information about primary care at UCSF, see www.ucsfhealth.org/primarycare.
