Jess Berthold is the Director of Public Relations, Clinical, overseeing external communications for the pediatric and adult health systems. She has worked in communications and journalism for more than 20 years, starting as an energy reporter for Dow Jones Newswires during the California electricity crisis. Jess realized her passion for all things health and medicine as a writer and editor of various publications at the American College of Physicians. A move to the Bay Area led to communications director positions at First 5 Association of California and the Prevention Institute. Jess holds Masters degrees in Journalism and Public Health, and a Bachelor’s in English and Psychology.
