<p>UCSF's inter-school research day is "part of the growing recognition of the importance of interprofessional team learning and research which is key to the translational medicine of the future,” according to Joel Palefsky, who is credited with organizing the event showcasing research from fellows, residents and students from all four professional schools. </p>
