The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration has funded the UCSF Center for AIDS Prevention Studies to provide leadership and support to seven states implementing interventions to enhance HIV testing and diagnosis.
<p>Former UCSF medical resident and stem cell researcher Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa, MD, will return to the University to speak about his time at UCSF on October 10 as part of the University's celebration of diversity.</p>

<p>The UCSF team came in third place overall in AIDS Walk San Francisco 2011 raising $55,000 in the annual event to benefit HIV/AIDS programs and services in the San Francisco Bay Area.</p>
