Partnership Formed to Foster Innovations in Teaching and Learning At UCSF
Want to propose an innovative approach to teaching and learning at UCSF?
The Academy of Medical Educators, the Center for Innovation in Interprofessional Education and the UCSF Library & Center for Knowledge Management are joining to make a unique call for proposals, “Innovations Funding for Education.”
Historically, each organization has administered its own educational grants program with specific annual funding priorities. For this effort, the organizations defined their priorities in concert and aligned their grant program cycles in order to encourage proposals and facilitate collaborations between previously siloed investigators.
This collaborative approach is a perfect fit for UCSF Open Proposals, a forum that encourages comments from the community and facilitates the cross-fertilization of ideas and formation of partnerships that are not easily achieved with a traditional proposal process.
Initial concepts for proposal must be submitted by Tuesday, Oct. 15, with investigators and their teams having until Dec. 2 to complete full proposals.
Funding for these year-long grants begins on July 1, 2014.
