UCSF Offers Special Night at California Academy of Sciences

Those who want to experience a humid rainforest where exotic butterflies thrive, take a look undersea at myriad sea creatures or go on an African safari to see lions, zebras and baboons only need to go to the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park.

And now UCSF faculty, staff and students have an opportunity to visit the world-class museum at a discounted price during an exclusive night on Thursday, April 28 from 6 to 10 p.m.

Tickets go on sale on for this event on Monday, March 28 at the Millberry Union Central Desk on the UCSF Parnassus campus.

A San Francisco institution, the California Academy of Sciences recently opened a new, 400,000-square-foot facility that houses an aquarium, planetarium, natural history museum and four-story rainforest all under one roof.
