UCSF Seeks Stars for First Talent Show
UCSF faculty, staff, students and trainees who have a special talent can upload their act on video to YouTube to enter the first “UCSF’s Got Talent” show.
Sponsored by Campus Life Services Arts & Events, “UCSF’s Got Talent” show is a fun and diverse community event that will showcase the talents of both individual and group performers.
The deadline to upload a three-minute video to YouTube is Thursday, April 8. Performers should then send the YouTube link to Joey Convento, Arts & Events producer.

Ten semi-finalists will be selected based on their YouTube videos by an Arts & Events committee.
The UCSF community will then vote for their favorite performer via YouTube.
The top five finalists will advance in the competition to perform live at the “UCSF’s Got Talent” show scheduled for Monday, May 3 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Millberry Conference Center at the UCSF Parnassus campus.
The live show will feature comedian Dat Phan as the master of ceremonies. He is the original winner of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and performs his stand-up act live across the U.S. He has made numerous TV and movie appearances including “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Family Guy” voice-over, and “Cellular.”
