UCSF to Host Annual Holiday Shopping Spree

Campus Life Services staffers Robert Kirkbride and Amy Powell show their holiday spirit with the UC Bear during last year’s holiday shopping event.

UCSF is offering faculty, staff, students and members of the public two days to get an early start to the holiday shopping season.

The UCSF Holiday Shopping Spree is slated for Wednesday and Thursday, Dec.  2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the Millberry Union Conference & Meeting Center and Gymnasium, located at 500 Parnassus Ave., San Francisco.

This is a fun, free, and convenient shopping spree event featuring local vendors offering handmade and original merchandise. Patrons will be able to find unique gifts for friends, family and co-workers. Prices range from $10 to $250.

The Gospel Choir at UCSF will perform on Thursday, from noon to 1 p.m. And a vendor drawing will be held at 1 and 4 p.m.

The event also features free gift wrapping provided by Everyday Errands. Donations will be given to the UCSF Medical Center Auxiliary to benefit patients and families.

All proceeds will help UCSF Arts & Events produce events that add to the quality of campus life throughout the year.
