UCSF Resource Allocation Program Offers Fifth Round of Grants
The Resource Allocation Program (RAP), a major campuswide grant program at UCSF for basic, clinical and population scientists, is ready to launch its fall 2009 funding cycle.
The deadline to submit an application for this round is Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 at 6 p.m. A notice of intent is not required.
RAP, catalyzed by the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), brings together many different intramural funding programs, including the:
- Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center
- AIDS Research Institute at UCSF
- Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, Mount Zion Health Fund
- UCSF Gladstone Institute of Virology & Immunology Center for AIDS Research
- CTSI Strategic Opportunities Support
- National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health
- Research Evaluation and Allocation Committee of the School of Medicine
Under RAP, these programs now have a single application and review process. All UCSF and CTSI associated institutional faculty in any series may apply.
The newest addition to the RAP grant offerings is the CTSI Clinical Research Center Young Investigator Award.
RAP continues to move closer to becoming a “one-stop shop” for intramural funding at UCSF.
