UCSF Children's Hospital to celebrate young patients battling cancer

“Celebrating Our Heroes,” an event to acknowledge the courage and determination of children undergoing cancer treatment at UCSF Children’s Hospital. More than 200 current and former pediatric cancer patients and their families are expected to attend the event.

Led by Kate Matthay, MD, the Children’s Cancer and Blood Disease Program at UCSF Children’s Hospital is an international leader in the treatment of a wide variety of childhood cancer and blood diseases from diagnosis to cure and survival.
