Family Picnic Day at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Set for September 22

Arts & Events is organizing a family picnic day at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom on Saturday, Sept. 22. The family picnic day at Discovery Kingdom is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The ticket price is $39.99, which includes admission and buffet barbecue lunch, which will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The 135-acre Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo is home to more than 30 animal attractions. Children of all ages will enjoy seeing zebras, sharks, dolphins, alligators, butterflies, elephants, cheetahs and penguins, to name a few. Faculty, staff, students and trainees based at San Francisco General Hospital can purchase tickets in advance on Tuesday, Sept. 11, in the cafeteria from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The last day to buy tickets at the $39.99 price is Sept. 13; after that the price will increase $10 to $49.99.
