After years of inconsistent cable availability in San Francisco, University of California Television (UCTV) has finally found a prime-time home in the city on EATV2, Comcast cable channel 75.
Beginning August 1, UCTV programming will air daily from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. on EATV2, the educational access channel recently launched by City College of San Francisco.
UCTV is a noncommercial channel that airs programming from throughout the 10-campus UC system. UCTV offers a wide range of programs, with a different content area featured each evening from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. The programming lineup is as follows:
* Health and Medicine on Mondays
* Science on Tuesdays
* Public Affairs on Wednesdays
* Variety on Thursdays
* Humanities on Fridays
* Art and Music on Saturdays and
* Best of the Week on Sundays
UCSF provides UCTV with valuable consumer health programming frequently featured during the Monday night health and medicine line-up, and the campus' ongoing series "Women's Health Today," "Mini Medical School," and "Osher Lifelong Learning Institute" are consistently popular with UCTV's national television and global web audiences.

The Importance of Forgiveness for Health and Healing on August 6 at 10 p.m.;
