Maric Munn
Maric Munn, who championed green building policies at the UC Office of the President, has joined UCSF as the new Director of Facilities Management for Capital Projects and Facilities Management (CPFM).
For the last six years, Munn has served as associate director for energy and utility services for Facilities Administration at the UC Office of the President. She has more than 21 years of related managerial experience.
Prior to joining the University, Munn held a variety of facilities and physical plant positions, including serving as the utility manager with the Presidio Trust. She also is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional and a California Energy Commission certified energy auditor.
Most recently, Munn has been responsible for UC's development and implementation of innovative green building, clean energy and climate change policies, collaborating with the California State University system in energy procurement and management, and creating innovative solutions for dealing with the complex regulatory environment for utilities in California.
Munn holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered professional mechanical engineer in California.
