Open Enrollment Approaches Final Week

Everything UCSF faculty and staff want to know about Open Enrollment 2006 is posted on the UC At Your Service website. Open enrollment is the time to decide whether to make any changes for 2007 in health and welfare benefit plan enrollments. General information and the 2007 monthly premium rates for UC medical plans are available at the Open Enrollment website, where employees also can review their personal benefits summary, find out about plan benefits and services changes for 2007, use special tools to help decide whether to make enrollment changes, and make and confirm changes. Be sure to consider enrolling or re-enrolling for 2007 in the UC Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) program - and receive a convenient spending account card to pay expenses. For details, go online to the Open Enrollment website HCRA section. Pay bands have been adjusted upward for 2007 to reflect the increased cost of living. The levels are: $43,000 or less; $43,001 to $86,000; $86,001 to $129,000; and $129,001 and above. Importantly, UC will continue to pay the full premium for both the dental and vision plans. New rates have been posted for the Legal Plan. For more information about plan changes, go here.
