Inside the Female Brain
Louann Brizendine, MD, is director and founder of the Women and Teen Girls' Mood and Hormone Clinic, at UCSF, the first clinic in the country devoted to the study of women and their mental, sexual and physical health.
Brizendine is one of the country's foremost neuropsychiatric experts, best known for her ground-breaking work in the field of female neurology, and now, for her much-lauded book, The Female Brain.
On October 3, 2006, Brizendine spoke before The Commonwealth Club in San Jose. Her recorded speech was broadcast by KALW-AM on October 24.
