SF Police Arrest Sexual Battery Suspect
Inthichak Kittiphong, who has been identified and charged by UCSF Police for alleged sexual batteries at UC Hall on the Parnassus campus, has been arrested.
San Francisco Police arrested Kittiphong on Aug. 11. He is in custody at the San Francisco County Jail. Kittiphong is charged with a sexual battery that occurred at about 10:40 a.m. in UC Hall. A female employee was alone in a classroom when she was approached and subsequently assaulted. The victim yelled at him to leave, whereupon he fled the classroom. She described the subject as a Filipino male adult in his mid-20's and about five feet five inches in height. A second victim, who also was reportedly accosted in UC Hall, came forward shortly after seeing a Crime Alert bulletin posted on Aug. 11. UCSF Police detectives conducted an investigation, which led to criminal charges being filed against Kittiphong. UCSF Police offer these tips for personal safety: • When you are going to be alone in a work space, let others know where you are and when you expect to be finished or return to the office. • Watch your surroundings, do not allow anyone to approach too closely and avoid being cornered by a stranger. • Always have an exit route in mind.
