Mission Bay Resumes Tours

Beginning Wednesday, July 19, Erin Escobar of the Office of Community and Government Relations will be leading weekly tours of our developing Mission Bay campus. Tours will cover the history of Mission Bay, the physical development of the campus, plans for future development, the architectural design of the Community Center and Genentech Hall, the public art, and current programs and services. Public access inside Genentech Hall will be limited to the atrium and fifth floor public corridor, which provides a view of lab layout and benches without actually entering the lab. Tours inside the Community Center will be limited to the atrium. Tours will begin at 12:00 noon in the lobby of the UCSF Mission Bay Community Center and last approximately 45 minutes. Reservations are required a week in advance and can be made through the Mission Bay website or by contacting the Community and Government Relations office at (415) 476-3457, or email.
