From Toronto, UCSF's Kriegstein Comments on the State of Stem Cell Science
Several UCSF scientists attended the fourth annual International Society for Stem Cell Research meeting in Toronto, June 28-July 1. On hand were Arturo Alvarez-Buylla, PhD, UCSF professor of neurosurgery, Renee Reijo Pera, PhD, co-director of the UCSF Human Embryonic Stem Cell Center, and Arnold Kriegstein, MD, PhD, director of the UCSF Institute for Regeneration Medicine.
From Toronto, Kriegstein provided an overview of the state of stem cell science, as presented at the meeting, to KCBS radio, in a live broadcast, on Friday, June 30, 11:30 a.m.
