Loretta Love Huff, president and principal consultant of Emerald Harvest Consulting, is among those to gather today for the Symposium for Women in University Settings.
A seasoned corporate executive with more than 30 years of experience in human resources, IT and banking, Love Huff will talk about "Leadership That Transforms and Delivers" from noon to 1:15 p.m. today.
Love Huff teaches organizational leadership, systems thinking and conflict management for the graduate divisions of the University of Phoenix and Ottawa University. As a leadership coach and performance improvement consultant, Love Huff has helped corporate leaders and small business owners optimize their performance and accomplish their business and personal goals.

The symposium, to be held at the Renaissance Parc 55 Hotel in San Francisco, will examine women's access to positions of leadership in higher education, and developing strategies to increase women's power and influence.
Sponsored by the UCSF Center for Gender Equity, the symposium features keynote speakers including author and teacher Angela Davis and offers 30 interactive workshops, women artisans galleria, raffle and giveaways.
