Student Regents to Visit UCSF on Thursday

Student Regents Adam Rosenthal and Maria Ledesma are available to talk about issues affecting the University when they visit the UCSF Parnassus campus on Thursday, Feb. 2. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to meet them at a 5 p.m. reception hosted by the Office of Student Life in the Chancellors' Conference Room S 118 in the Medical Sciences Building. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Rosenthal is a law student at King Hall School of Law at UC Davis. He was appointed in September 2004 by the Regents to serve as the student Regent for a one-year term beginning last July. During the period September 2004 through June 2005, he served as a non-voting Regent-designate. Read more about him here. UCLA graduate student María Ledesma has been appointed to be the student Regent for 2006-07. She is a non-voting Regent-designate from July 2005 until her term begins July 1.
