UCSF's Donald Abrams, the first doctor authorized by the federal government to conduct research on the medicinal benefits of marijuana, talks to KPIX about his studies at San Francisco General Hospital. See video here. Use of the plant by patients has been called into question following the US Supreme Court's recent ruling to allow federal prosecution for medicinal marijuana use.
