Committed to the Community
We invest in and support our community by sponsoring events, making strategic public benefit investments, providing free health screenings, and promoting activities to encourage health and wellness. In 2022, we:
- Sponsored 14 community fairs and hosted 16 community meetings to keep neighbors informed on our capital projects.
- Facilitated the transfer of UCSF land to the San Francisco Unified School District to build the first public school in Mission Bay, which will serve young learners from Pre-K to Grade 5 and house a Linked Learning Hub to connect students with opportunities in Health, Biotechnology, and other STEM fields.
- Hosted 5 voter education forums free and open to the public in the lead up to the 2022 Midterm Elections.

Mission Bay and Dogpatch
Our biotechnology hub in Mission Bay/Dogpatch is where academia and industry come together and create cutting edge, lifesaving research with our new hospital complex, UCSF Medical Center.

Parnassus Heights
Bordering the Inner Sunset and Cole Valley neighborhoods, the UCSF campus at Parnassus Heights is the original site of the Affiliated Colleges that evolved into the health sciences university that it is today.

Mount Zion
Located in the vibrant Western Addition/Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood, the UCSF Mount Zion campus is a hub of specialized medical center clinics and surgery services, such as the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Zuckerberg SF General
One of the longest and most successful UCSF partnerships is with the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, a public safety-net hospital where more than 2,000 UCSF physicians and staff work side-by-side with the dedicated employees of the San Francisco Department of Public Health.
Oakland
UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland is dedicated to the health and well-being of children and their families today and into the future through our mission of Caring, Healing, Teaching and Discovering. The Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute (CHORI) is dedicated to translating basic and clinical research into life-saving and health benefits for children.

UCSF Fresno represents a unique medical education and physician training program that is a model for community and university partnership. Since 1975, it has given Valley residents access to the highest quality health care services while enabling doctors in training – working alongside the finest physicians – to experience the dynamic interplay of scholarship, research, patient care and health.
