UCSF to Host Finance Day on April 15

Do you have your “ducks” in a row when it comes to your financial future?

UCSF employees are invited to learn about financial strategies to achieve economic security during Finance Day 2010 to be held on Thursday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Millberry Union Conference Center on the Parnassus campus.

Sponsored by the UCSF Human Resources Benefits office, Finance Day provides employees an opportunity to learn more about University-sponsored programs which can help them to provide for: 

  • future economic security
  • a leisurely retirement
  • adequate life/disability insurance coverage
  • their children’s education and
  • the purchase of a home.

Participants include representatives from campus and medical center benefits offices, UC Office of the President benefits office, Fidelity retirement services, Social Security and Golden One Credit Union.

The featured presentations are:

  • Fundamentals of Retirement Income Planning, 11 a.m.
  • The Features of the UC Retirement Plan (UCRP), noon
  • The Future of UCRP, 1 p.m.

As usual, free rubber ducks will be available to attendees while supplies last.
