VACCINES FOR SCHOOL KIDS AT DROP-IN CLINIC
UCSF is offering a drop-in immunization clinic in the Mission District to give children the vaccines they need to start school. The clinic accepts most insurance plans and immunizes uninsured children at no cost.  8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. SMOKING CESSATION SERVICES
Individual consultations with physicians trained in treating tobacco dependence and access to relapse-prevention program. This interactive course focuses on health, addiction, strategies for quitting & motivation. $55 fee for the 4-week program and a requested (not required) $5 donation for the relapse prevention group. 5:30 - 7:15 pm. EMOTIONAL ASPECTS OF PREGNANCY AND POSTPARTUM
This class covers who is “at risk” for pregnancy/postpartum depression and anxiety, how to recognize the symptoms, treatment options, support groups, relaxation classes, therapists and medication. $25. 6 - 7:30 pm. MINDFULNESS-BASED CHILDBIRTH AND PARENTING
This program is an invitation to begin or deepen the practice of mindfulness for meeting the changes in body and mind during pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. $550 per couple or $300 for singles, plus $35 materials fee.
