Children Receive Honors for Oral Health Projects

The UCSF School of Dentistry and Oral-B co-sponsored an oral health poster contest again this year for children affiliated with the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco. The goal of the contest is to get young people to think about oral hygiene and health as a gateway to overall health. Children were recognized on Feb. 24, for their ideas and creativity at the awards ceremony for the UCSF School of Dentistry Oral Hygiene Poster contest. Students were presented their prizes at a ceremony at the Ernest Ingold Clubhouse on Page St. Representatives from the dental school and campus judged 36 finalists, selected from seven Boys and Girls Clubs in various San Francisco neighborhoods.
