Breast Feeding Fair at UCSF Women's Health Resource Center on August 6

By Carol Hyman

One of only 18 sites selected in the country to participate in a special lactation program, the UCSF Women’s Health Resource Center will present a comprehensive health fair on breast feeding this Friday, August 6.

New moms, seasoned moms and expectant moms in the community will have an opportunity to peruse colorful information booths, talk to experts and ask everything they’ve ever wanted to know about breast feeding, but were afraid to ask. Games for children and car seat demonstrations are scheduled, and preschool applications will be available.

At noon, Renee Tavers, a yoga instructor, will invite all participants to share in an active, mother-baby yoga class (great visuals).
