Members of the UCSF community who show their identification badge can gain free admission to San Francisco's Exploratorium from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 10.

One UCSF ID badge will admit two adults and up to four children under the age of 18. That evening, faculty, students and staff can get a $10 discount on Exploratorium membership.

The Exploratorium, located at 3601 Lyon Street at the Palace of Fine Arts, is a museum of science, art, and human perception founded in 1969. The Exploratorium’s mission is to create a culture of learning through innovative environments, programs, and tools that help people nurture their curiosity about the world around them.

The Exploratorium received the National Science Foundation’s Public Service to Science Award in 2011, the first time a museum has been honored.
