UCSF Hosts Red Hot Gala This Saturday

The campus community is invited to kick up their collective heels on Saturday, April 4 when UCSF hosts the biannual Red Hot Gala featuring live music, appetizers and no-host bar. Campus Life Services’ (CLS) Arts & Events Department is doing its part to honor UCSF’s commitment to enrich the human spirit of all UCSF staff, faculty, and students through community, recognition and celebration. Members of the Red Hot Committee felt that more than ever morale was important to keep top of mind so the decision was made to go forward.” This exclusive event will take place at the historic San Francisco Great American Music Hall, 859 O’Farrell Street from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are on sale now at Parnassus Millberry Union Central Desk, Laurel Heights Documents, Media and Mail (DMM) and Mission Center Building DMM. The ticket price for students and postdoctoral scholars is $25 and for staff and faculty, $40.

Ryze

Live entertainment will be Ryze The Band, a seven-piece line-up from the Bay Area that plays Funk, Jazz, Latin, Big Band Swing and Motown. The spinning of DJ Alex Wong will finish the night. “We guarantee you’ll hear something that makes you want to move your feet,” Mannix says.
