Benefit Fund Established for Guzman-Solari Family

UCSF Chancellor J. Michael Bishop, MD, School of Pharmacy Dean Mary Anne Koda-Kimble, PharmD, and Joseph B. Guglielmo, PharmD, chair of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, want to make the UCSF community aware of a fund that has been established to benefit the widow and children of Luis "Al" Solari, who was killed in a road-rage incident in early April. Solari's widow, Lilia Guzman, is the primary receptionist for the Department of Clinical Pharmacy in the UCSF School of Pharmacy. "Our deepest sympathies go out to Lilia and her family," Chancellor Bishop said. "We know that the members of the UCSF community seek to support each other and hope that contributions to this fund will help Lilia Guzman and her family cope with the financial strain this incident has caused." Contributions should be made payable to the "Al Solari and Lilia Guzman Family Fund" and can be sent to: Lilia Solari Family Benefit Account
