UCSF Leaders Extend Thanks With Holiday Staff Appreciation Events

Campus leaders help serve breakfast to UCSF employees at a 2011 staff appreciation event.

All UCSF employees are invited to attend a free holiday breakfast, as part of the University’s year-round series of staff appreciation events.

Chancellor Susan Desmond-Hellmann and UCSF Medical Center CEO Mark Laret are extending the invitation in thanks for the hard work being done toward UCSF’s mission of advancing health worldwide. Campus leaders also will attend the events to greet staff.

The holiday breakfasts, being held at three different campuses, will include entertainment and prizes, such as San Francisco Giants tickets, movie tickets and gift certificates.

Here's the schedule for the events:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 11: 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., Cafeteria at Mount Zion
  • Thursday, Dec. 13: 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Genentech Hall Atrium at Mission Bay
  • Monday, Dec. 17: 6:30 a.m. – 11 a.m., Moffitt Cafe at Parnassus

More staff appreciation events are planned for 2013 that will cover other University locations, including Laurel Heights, San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center and the Mission Center.
