Sleep Phase Can Reduce Anxiety in People with PTSD

Sleep spindles, bursts of brain activity during NREM2 sleep, may regulate anxiety in PTSD, challenging recent studies. Non-invasive therapies could provide relief, such as prescription drugs or electrical brain stimulation.
