UCSF to Stage Cinco de Mayo Celebration Concerts

UCSF will celebrate Cinco de May at three different locations on Wednesday, May 5.

Concerts will be staged from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Millberry Union Plaza on the Parnassus campus and in the plaza at the Mission Center Building (MCB) at 1855 Folsom St. Mazacote will perform on Parnassus and Salsa Caliente will entertain MCB.

Employees at MCB can enjoy a fiesta with chips and salsa provided by Campus Life Services Retail Services. Lunch specials will be provided by Carmelina’s Café.

At Laurel Heights, the Cinco de Mayo celebration will run from noon to 1 p.m. in the View café on the second floor. The Laurel Heights Outreach Team will have free nacho chips. Arts and crafts will be on sale in the adjacent Garden Room from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Laurel Arts Forum and co-sponsored by the Performing Arts Fund.
