Input Sought in Town Hall Meetings on UCSF's Future

Eugene Washington

Members of the campus community are invited to share their opinions in town hall meetings organized as part of the UCSF strategic planning process. The Strategic Planning Initiative is currently underway for planning UCSF's future priorities and direction -- and participation of the UCSF community is critical to its success. See previous story on strategic planning process. Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost A. Eugene Washington, MD, who co-chairs the Strategic Planning Board, will lead town hall meetings on each of UCSF's major campus locations to share information about the Strategic Planning Initiative, respond to questions from the community and gather feedback. UCSF's future, and priorities for the next 20 years, will be dictated by this project, according to Washington. Town hall meetings have been scheduled for the following dates:
  • Mission Bay: Thursday, June 15, 9 to 10 a.m., Byers Auditorium
  • Parnassus: Tuesday, June 20, noon to 1 p.m., Health Sciences West, room 300
  • Veterans Affairs Medical Center: Friday, June 23, 9 to 10 a.m., building 7, room 112
  • San Francisco General Hospital Medical Center: Friday, June 23, 4 to 5 p.m., Carr Auditorium
  • Laurel Heights: Tuesday, June 27, 9 to 10 a.m., Laurel Heights Auditorium
