ASSOCIATION FOR CONTINENCE (NAFC)
National
Association for Continence, formerly Help for Incontinent People, is
a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of
life of people with incontinence. NAFC's purpose is to be the leading
source of education, advocacy and support to the public and to the health
professional about the causes, prevention, diagnosis, treatments, and
management alternatives for incontinence. Consumer education brochures,
videos, audio tapes, newsletters, support-lines services, a Resource
Guide for products and services for incontinence, and referrals to continence
specialists are available.

NATIONAL
KIDNEY AND UROLOGICAL DISEASES INFORMATION CLEARINGHOUSE (NKUDIC)
The National
Kidney and Urologic Diseases Information Clearinghouse (NKUDIC) is a
service of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney
Diseases (NIDDK). The clearinghouse provides information about diseases
of the kidneys and urologic system to people with kidney and urologic
disorders and to their families, health care professionals, and the
public. NKUDIC answers inquiries; develops, reviews, and distributes
publications; and works closely with professional and patient organizations
and Government agencies to coordinate resources about kidney and urologic
diseases.
Publications
produced by the clearinghouse are carefully reviewed for scientific
accuracy, content, and readability.
