UCSA Student Lobby Conference (SLC) March 1-3, Sacramento, CA

The annual UC Student Lobby Conference is a statewide conference to empower UC students’ to fight for access and affordabilty: lower UC fees, increases to financial aid, funding college prep programs, and a quality education at the UC. UCSA will provide students from across the system with a range of workshops on student advocacy and higher education issues. The conference prepares students to meet with their elected representatives during the UC Student Lobby Day in Sacramento.

UCSA (www.ucsa.org) seeks to create greater access to public higher education for all Californians by empowering current and future students to advocate on their own behalf for the accessibility, affordability and quality of the University of California education system. SLC is an exciting way for students to learn about the higher education issues that affect them, and it also gives students the opportunity to lobby their state representatives in Sacramento about the higher education issues that matter to students and their families. Students have the power to make a difference!

Please save the date for the next SLC (March 1-3) and contact your student government representative on your campus to see how you can be a part of your campus delegation.
