Fetal Treatment and Discovery Center
The Fetal Treatment and Discovery Center at UCSF was the first
to perform successful surgery on a fetus and remains the world
leader in fetal diagnosis and therapy. Thanks in large part to
efforts by UCSF physicians, an increasing number of fetal anomalies
are corrected before birth. Gifts to this priority will help ensure
that UCSF has the resources to retain the experts and support
the facilities that enable the Center to save young lives.
