Never before have nursing professionals faced greater challenges.
They must master new technologies at a breathtaking rate and care
for patients in an increasingly wide variety of settings. The nursing
shortage is already acute, and within the next decade the situation
will be even more critical for both practicing nurses and nursing
faculty.
While the challenges facing the profession are considerable,
