Who should attend?
This program is targeted to primary medical care providers (physicians, nurses, pharmacists), Transitional Case Management Program staff, and other health care professionals who have responsibility for the care and treatment of patients with HIV/AIDS in California correctional facilities, and at local/regional community clinic referral sites.

Please note that registration priority for the May 2008 program will be given to CDCR-affiliated and other medical care providers who have not attended a previous PAETC regional HIV/AIDS training program. This includes those who RSVP’d for a previous session but were unable to attend due to over-enrollment.

How much does it cost?

Course Fee: There is a non-refundable $25.00 registration fee to defray the cost of professional continuing education credit, course materials, and lunch on both days.
Travel: Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from San Diego, and for all personal expenses and meals except lunch. Lunch is provided both days of the training. Hotel accommodations are available for out-of-area attendees [more than 50 miles] at no charge (see below).
Hotel:

To encourage participation from health care providers working in correctional facilities throughout the region, the SFAETC has reserved a block of rooms at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel, Mission Valley, located at 1433 Camino Del Rio South in San Diego.

For Out-of-Area Attendees Who Need Accommodations:
