Changing the text size

  • Firefox: Choose Text Size from the View menu.
  • Internet Explorer for Windows: Choose Text Size from the View menu.
  • Internet Explorer for Macintosh: Choose Text Zoom from the View menu.
  • Netscape Navigator for Windows and Macintosh: Choose Text Zoom from the View menu.
  • Safari (Macintosh only): Choose Make Text Bigger or Make Text Smaller from the View menu.

Setting www.ucsf.edu as your browser home page

  • Firefox: Choose Options from the Tools menu, click the General tab, and type http://www.ucsf.edu in the Location(s) box.
  • Internet Explorer for Windows: Choose Internet Options from the Tools menu, click the General tab, and type http://www.ucsf.edu/ in the Address box.
  • Internet Explorer for Macintosh: Choose Preferences from the Explorer menu, click Web Browser, then Browser Display, and type http://www.ucsf.edu/ in the Address box.
  • Netscape Navigator for Windows and Macintosh: Choose Preferences from the Edit menu (or Netscape menu on Mac OS X), click the Navigator category, and type http://www.ucsf.edu/ in the Location box.
  • Safari (Macintosh only): Choose Preferences from the Safari menu, click General, and type http://www.ucsf.edu/ in the Home Page box.

Access Keys:

Access keys provide rapid access to commonly used links and assist disabled users to navigate within a website. To use this feature, press the Alt key (PC) or Ctrl key (Mac) together with an access key. In the case of Windows Internet Explorer, also press enter. The access keys defined for this site are:
