Education:
B.A. in Physical Anthropology, Washington University, St. Louis, MO, 1999

PhD Student, Oral and Craniofacial Sciences, UCSF, San Francisco, CA, 2001 to present, expected 2007

Research Mentor:
Grayson Marshall

Research Statement:
I am studying mineralization of dentin. I am primarily interested in the non-collagenous proteins that are involved in mineralization of dentin and their interactions with mineral components. My current research focuses on remineralization of caries-demineralized human dentin using insoluble NCPs.

Awards/ Honors:
Lamba Alpha Anthropological Honors Society, Washington University, St. Louis, MO, 1997-1999

Graduate Dean's Health Science Fee Scholarship, University of California, San Francisco, CA, 2005
