California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences
California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences, or QB3, became the third life sciences research building to open at UCSF Mission Bay. The $100 million, five-story, 153,000-square-foot building, which is connected to Genentech Hall, serves as headquarters to a collaborative venture with UCSF, UC Berkeley and UC Santa Cruz. The building opened in March 2005.
