Joey Convento: Bringing Play to Work

Joey is the emcee and event producer for many of our events on campus including the Block Party, Black & White Gala, and various cultural celebrations. His goal is to create work-life balance for UCSF employees by providing opportunities to get out of the office or lab and embrace their creative spirit.

Joey has been with UCSF for almost two decades. He is a San Francisco native, and thrives on the energy, cultural diversity, and creativity that San Francisco has to offer.
