Join San Francisco Launch of Global Health 2035

UCSF Global Health Sciences and The Lancet Commission on Investing in Health invite the community to the San Francisco launch of a major new report: Global Health 2035: A World Converging within a Generation.

The report examines national health policy opportunities to achieve dramatic health gains by 2035.

The launch will be held at the UCSF Parnassus campus in Health Sciences West, room 300 on Tuesday, Dec. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. with a reception to follow.

Special guest Lawrence H. Summers, president emeritus of Harvard University and chair of the commission, will provide an overview of the report.

The evening will also feature comments and discussion by Bay Area global health experts including Nobel laureate economist Kenneth Arrow, UCSF Global Health Group Director Sir Richard Feachem, and Commission Co-Chair Dean Jamison among others.
