John Tobias
In response to recent crime trends on the UCSF Parnassus Heights campus, the UCSF Police Department enhanced security measures beginning August 24.
As a result of these proactive and strategic patrols, UCSF police arrested John Tobias, who is suspected of stealing property, on August 26.
Tobias was found in the Medical Sciences Building in possession of property, which had been reported stolen during a burglary at UCSF. Tobias is in custody at the San Francisco County jail.
Police issued a police bulletin on July 6 alerting the campus community that Tobias is a suspected trespasser.
