The National HIV/AIDS Clinicians' Consultation Center is a component of the AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETCs) Program, funded under the Ryan White CARE Act through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), HIV/AIDS Bureau.
The AETCs Program supports a network of regional and national centers that conduct state-of-the-art HIV/AIDS clinical consultation, education, and training programs.
The AETCs focus on:
Improving the care of people living with HIV and AIDS by increasing the number of health care providers who are able to counsel, diagnose, treat, and medically manage persons with HIV infection.
Decreasing HIV transmission by promoting risk reduction.
